What I'm up to, and a Recap of Some Recent Box Breaks

I actually have a couple breaks (Bowman, Topps) that I can still post before I hold off on spending for a while, but first, I'm trying to compose a uniform review format that I can use for any product. While I'm trying to find a suitable scale, be sure to check out the posts from this week!

This kickoff edition blaster is still in stock for $25 and is an awesome product to bust. $25 for four rookie on-card autographs is unmatchable!

People have been pretty interested in this box break, and I definitely got a nice surprise in the second box. I also strongly recommend this product because $15 nets you an autographed 8 x 10 and 2-3 autograph cards!

2010 Press Pass Portrait Edition Break! 8 Autographs!

This product is unbelievably awesome. 4 Rookie On-Card Autos a box for $25?! Also, you get 5 packs of retail portrait edition. You have got to pick some of these up! This product satisfies hit searchers, low-end collectors, and pretty much anyone else. Even if you prefer high-end cards, the autographs are great for collecting!
I failed in searching for Bradford other than one basic parallel, but I got some of my favorite players anyways.

The awesome thing is that all of these players are/will likely be major contributers with the exception of Dezmon Briscoe, Anthony Dixon, and maybe Gerhart. I am a Stanford fan though so it was awesome to hit a numbered signature!
The base cards are pretty much useless and the inserts weren't too interesting. The only difference between the parallel insert and the regular cards is that the name of the player is in a blue reflective font as opposed to silver. Even the autograph cards are very thin and flimsy, and I was disappointed that the picture on the Gerhart was blurry. The simple appearance of these cards has a benefit though because it really feels hand signed. Sometimes really fancy sticker autos seem manufactured, but these cards are clean and simple.
Do yourself a favor and get one of these boxes! They are lots of fun and you have a chance at pulling some great rookie signatures!

Decided to wait and the price went up from around $10 to $90 for a Bowman auto... Let's Go Giants Though!

2 Boxes of 2005 Just Minors Dual Autographs Break and Review! Awesome Dual Auto!
Purchased: $15 from Dave and Adam's Card World a dacardworld exclusive!
Each box contains an autographed 8 x 10 Autographed Photo and 2 packs of Just Autographs 2005. Each pack contains an autograph card. There is also a 1:6 chance for an additional dual autograph card numbered to 10 or 25, and I hit one. The top portraits are of Hanley Ramirez, Mark Teixeira, Carl Crawford, AJ Burnett, Joe Mauer, Tim Hudson, Grady Sizemore, Miguel Cabrera, and Alfonso Soriano.
When you first see this product, you might glance over it. A minor league product for $15? who would want that anyways? Then, read the description and see that you will receive 3 autographs per box and start dreaming about pulling an awesome 8 x 10. That's the process I went through when I purchased two boxes of 2005 Just Minors Dual Autographs.
The contents of my first box are so miserable they don't deserve to be posted. Each autograph was of a player who had retired.
The second box, however, contained an awesome surprise, a Ryan Braun Chuck James Dual Auto #2/25!
I was really excited to see this Braun auto after receiving a Braun rookie Auto from my 2007 SP Rookie Edition Break which you can check out here.
Just Minors is all about the autographs. The bases are literally some of the worst cards I have ever seen because they are cheap and plain. This product is simple: buy a box for $15, get 3 autographs, and test your luck. You could end up with lots of terrible minor leaguers but you could also strike gold. The cheap price point allows you to gamble on multiple boxes and hopefully pull 1/2 valuable autos. A minor league autographed picture or numbered autograph card for a superstar for $15 is an unbelievable deal, and I strongly encourage you to try your luck at a few boxes.

I'd recommend all four of these deals and actually, I'll have breaks up of 2005 Just Minors and 2007 SP Rookie Edition this week. I actually got something pretty interesting from the rookie edition that I'll post today that should cover the price of the box.
EDIT: Watch out guys, the crossed out prices aren't necessarily the normal price. The 2007 SP Rookie Edition sold out quickly probably because it said the crossed out price was $71. The normal price was actually $25.
